Coach Jones was at Briarcrest last night watching the Briarcrest vs. USJ game.....spent about 3 quarters watching the game. Just had to show this big boy some love before he went to Bama for an official....

Florida & Georgia aren't any good. At this point we haven't gained much by beating two mediocre teams. We still have a long way to go before this thing is turned around. I doubt he only meant the tackle position in his comment. More likely that he meant the entire program.

Just saw his Twitter post saying he had a great visit at Bama yesterday. He even added the "RTR".... Ughh. Would really sting to lose this guy but especially to them.

This was over when his sister was hired. He's just enjoying the attention and process.

We need this young man both as he is a beast in a position of importance, but also we need a player like this to start recruiting momentum again

UF and UGA are big time rivals of Tennessee. Most of us expected better reactions than we got from beating them, especially Florida. The streak has ended. That was huge in UT football history.

Sucks to go from 3 straight seasons with 5-7 records to three straight with 7, 9, and probably 10 wins. No progress.

"Trey Smith made it to Alabama over the weekend and it was an unofficial visit. That means he still can visit both Tennessee and Alabama for an official in Novemebrer.

I haven't talked to everyone I want to get at Alabama, but I do think the Tide may be more of a factor than I've given them credit for recently. I still think Tennessee is the team to beat here, not ready to back off of that, but Alabama is going to make the Vols work for this one.

I'm trying to figure out just how many OL Alabama is taking in this class and that could help us unlock that situation a little more.

But, I just wanted to give a heads up as the next six weeks are crunch time for Trey as he decides on Dec. 6."

I want him in orange badly. But honestly, I wouldnt be shocked if he picked Bama over us. Bama puts OL in the NFL on a regular basis and wins championships. Regardless of what some might think, stuff like that matters to recruits.
