UT offered on 12-8-16. Looks like we're going to be battling Lane Kiffin pretty hard for this recruit since he's now the HC at FAU.

Rivals Dozen: adidas East Coast Invitational

WINDERMERE, Fla. -- Hundreds of college-bound prospects showed on in central Florida for Saturday’s adidas East Coast Invitational on Saturday afternoon. There were dozens of teams in the event and the action was fast, making it impossible to catch every snap of every game. Below are 12 of the top individual performances we observed during the tournament.

Recruiting wrap: Sherwood says Miami, Florida and Florida State, in some order, make up his list of favorites. Tennessee is also in play.

Performance: A recently minted four-star prospect, Sherwood has a great frame and muscle that fills it out. His offer list is growing quickly and he’s likely to stay in state for college.

Rival 3 Stripe Challenge DB MVP in Orlando.

The defensive back group struggled a bit overall, but Sherwood got better as the one-on-ones continued and finished strong with one of the best interceptions of the day as he high-pointed a ball perfectly. The big safety was able to cover wide outs on the outside and was very physical off the line of scrimmage as well. His change of direction was impressive, and even in off coverage he had success. Miami is considered to be the leader over Florida State and Florida as he is leaning toward staying in state. Tennessee is trying hard to get him to leave home.
