"it was a pretty good impression today," horn said of 'orange carpet day.' "they didn't do to much recruiting today. It was just hanging out as a family atmosphere. It's always good to chill and hang out with the coaches. We got a chance to golf and hit softballs. It was fun. I got the chance to see some of the nationally recruited players and get a relationship with them also."
"oh yeah," horn said. "you guys know (wideout) jatavious harris. He was on me while i was here. He was like, 'you like it? You like it?' all the time (laughs)."
the family type feeling is always a big selling point for the tennessee program. It was that way under phillip fulmer and continues today under butch jones. That definitely stood out to horn. "it's just the family base thing," horn said. "just talking to the coaches and they have a need for dbs right now. You have a chance to come in and compete. I got the chance to spend time with the players and i know coaches won't just leave me out to dry if i come here."
"they just told me that if the coaches recruit you hard then they are going to treat you the same when you get here," horn said. "they have a good relationship with them. They aren't going to just drop you off when you sign. I like that about them."
"they are all up there now," horn said. "i'm just waiting for that right moment to commit. I'm open still. Those are the three that stand out.
"they say you get a good feeling on campus so i don't like to commit then. I just want it as a neutral feeling. Whatever school stands out is where i'm going to commit. I don't think it's going to happen in the summer. I thought i was going to be able to commit by july, but it's getting late in the summer. They are all making a run. It's kinda close."
