BigOrangeTrain...if you didn't read more than the last few posts, then I understand you thinking I was just having sour grapes. However if you go back a couple of pages (before HJs decommitt, matter of fact it was while he was still professing his undying love of the Volunteers Sunday) you will see this us no sour grapes from ne. And I don't give a crap what the scouts say on this one, it was just a feeling I have had for awhile....Once again...I am glad he is gone. Have a nice day, don't criticize without some context.

If HJ wanted to go, fine. But to come to K-town the next day, when his decision was most likely made to flip, and to work our current WR commitment and a player in our backyard... well... he can go eat unsalted grits.

We seem more consistent than those other coaches. We don't play well then get beat by Memphis, blowed out by Florida's terrible offense or Toledo. We have been in every game. Considering our schedule and our youth, we are definitely improving.

If he grew up a Tennessee fan, and his reasoning for Clemson leading is that Clemson is successful right now. With the amount of time between now and his signing day, I think we have this one in the bag. Clemson can only go down from where they are at now, most likely starting with a beatdown by OU, and we are on a nice upward trajectory.

This is what I was thinking as well. If we start bringing home hardware (SECE, SECC, etc.), I think we would stand a real good shot. Plus, our guys getting drafted on the uptick again should help too.

How does a lifelong Vol fan even consider another school over UT? If either of my sons(5&7), are lucky enough to receive athletic scholarships from the University of Tennessee one day, then I'll be damned if they go anywhere else lol.

Just curious but what happens if Clemson beats OU and wins it all? Highly unlikely I know but not impossible. Remember, OU lost to Texas and Clemson hasnt lost. Just sayin.

Yea, but OU is trending up and playing their best football right now. Clemson squeaked by USCjr. and UNC.

I agree with you. Just saying that OU is certainly no lock to beat Clemson. And even if they do how would Clemson be trending down by getting beat by one of the best teams in the country? Clemson is playing pretty good football for missing their #1 WR.
