How do you know? Hudl is known for posting true vitals for players.

I think that they post the numbers that they are given. I don't know if it is from the coach, or the player, or from some other service. I am betting it is from the school, in some way.

From Bluegrass Preps:

Waggener's Jairus Brents ran a 4.33 at Ohio State today.
Junior to be Jairus Brents ran a 4.33 at Ohio State University today. He also had a 39 inch vertical. They lined them up at the end and he won fastest of his class, and then won fastest of the camp.

I am so proud of how far this young man has came and continues to push for!

Tahj Rice was also present and performed very well. He was placed in the Final 4, for being top defensive lineman at the camp.

The coaching staff was highly impressed with both young men. It is great to watch two men give it their all in the off season and go out and perform so well at the highest level!

Now that's a great & necessary post for this thread. Thank you buddy for posting something sensible & not trying to post something attacking me or anybody else. Very Nice to see! :good!:

How is someone saying they believe "those stats are ridiculously inflated" not sensible? Or even attacking? You think anyone who doesn't 100% agree with you and your (usually incorrect) info is attacking you. Grow a pair Tony and leave your highly sensitive feelings at the door.

I've been on that site for years, take everything you read there with a grain of salt. Coaches / Parents are always overhyping their kids.

You're NOT being attacked, just folks disagreeing/not believing the 'vitals' you're posting.. Can you seriously not figure this out and stop being so defensive... SMDH....

Yes sir buddy. The vitals I'm posting is not from me. They are from Hudl so why should I be questioned about it? Makes no sense at all to me.

People want as much information as possible about these recruits so I post all I can get. If they have a problem with the numbers/vitals I post they need not take it up with me. Thanks!

Nobody "took it up" with you, stop acting like a child please. It's a message board, not every post is directed at you. Shocking, I know.

If they list his age as any older than 9, then I think those numbers would look ridiculously inflated. He looks like he is about 8 years old.

Did Texas Tech's Jakeem Grant run the fastest 40-yard dash ever? | FOX Sports

This article shows TTU WR Jakeem Grant running a 4.12 40. That is after years of training and college S&C. Is it possible that young Jarius ran a 4.29 40 as a Sophomore in high school? Yes I suppose but it is highly unlikely that is a 100% legit time. Sorry Tony. You have no proof beside what some person submitted to HUDL who then regurgitated that info onto their website.

You're the one that posted 1st buddy towards me. I gave my reason why. What good does it do to even post anything to some of you'll?

It's like posting to a tree or something. I'm done with replying back to you ok. No need for this grumbling. Thanks!

lol my first post in this thread had nothing to do with you, but keep trying to stir the pot. And yes, you are correct, it is exactly like posting to a tree when speaking with you, except the tree would have a much better understanding of what's going on.

Glich, what are you bringing this up for again? I just post what the websites display. It has NOTHING to do with me. Do you & others not understand ENGLISH?

Congrats buddy, and the bolded is what I was talking about. No one "took it up" with you. We were talking amongst ourselves on a message board about our doubt of the accuracy of the numbers, not "taking it up with you". Comprende? Are we done?

Speed I don't question at all. The 355lb Bench from a HS junior is kinda iffy,

I said the same thing when I posted the information. Hudl has scouts & other employees that either go out to these recruits high schools to get vitals or the coaches from the high schools themselves send the information to Hudl. They also get some from summer camps.

Most of the time the coaches send the information with some sort of proof like something faxed or a photo(s) of the recruit with the approved vitals.

I'm not saying they're perfectly right on all recruits. They can't be with some of these numbers but I say 9+ out of every 10 are correct with their vitals. That's what I do know about it. Thanks!
