Three-star junior athlete De'Von Graves of Appomattox County High School in Appomattox, Va., a longtime N.C. State commitment, posted on his Twitter account that he received a scholarship offer from Tennessee on Monday.

"Blessed to say i have received another offer from the University of Tennessee," he tweeted.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Graves has been committed to the Wolfpack since April 2016. He also holds offers from Virginia, Virginia Tech and Temple.

A new CB name to watch...

De'Von Graves is an NC State commit who camped at Tennessee today. Graves was offered by the Vols a couple of months ago and wanted to see the Vols. He was impressed with what he saw from the size of everything to how the coaches treated him and worked him at camp.

He is an early enrollee and said he will definitely be back. Notre Dame wants him to visit. He may visit Wake Forest and will see NC State again.

He's still committed to the Wolfpack but the Vols gave him plenty to think about on the way home.

Appomattox, Va. defensive back De'Von Graves has been committed to NC State for over a year. Saturday, Graves got his first look at Tennessee and he left Rocky Top with plenty to think about.

“It was a really fun experience,” Graves said. “They worked me out at corner. They offered me a couple months back. I wanted to come up and see the campus and see how everything was rolling. I liked it. “It's an SEC schools. It's crazy big like the facilities and everything like that. It's so much bigger than a lot of the ACC schools. It's only five hours away from home. It's like in the ideal location.”

“I talk to coach Warren, coach Beard and coach Jones a lot,” Graves said. “I'm talking to them almost ever day.” Saturday in addition to an unofficial visit, Graves camped in Knoxville working out with secondary coach Charlton Warren. “He was uptempo. I liked his attitude about things,” Graves offered. “He's a go-getter and I can see myself being coached by someone like that. “I could have done better, but I still raised some eyebrows. There's always room for improvement and what they taught me today will really help me out.”

Graves remains committed to NC State and certainly the Wolfpack will be a factor till the end. But Graves said the Vols will as well. “Hopefully I will be back in July and back for some games. This is one of the places that I will take an official visit. I will also definitely take one to NC State. Temple might be one. We will see. Notre Dame has to be one.

“It looks bad when someone decommits but at the same time I was young. God is going to point me in the right direction. I'm just going to pray about it. At the end of the day I have to do what's best for me and make a selfish decision. I want to be 110%.” Graves is a mid-term enrollee.
