Evaluation

Artis is a strong, physical linebacker. He reads and reacts to plays quickly. Artis is instinctive and very smart. He plays fast, but under control. Artis also does a nice job putting himself in position to make plays and tackles well. He needs to continue to work on his flexibility and pass coverage, but has a chance to become an impact player at the collegiate level.

I really like this kids film. He has natural instincts. He reads and reacts well then explodes through ball carriers making tackles. He doesn't have the freakish measurements everyone likes to see but a very solid MLB prospect.

I love Jat and all the peer recruiting he does for UT. This may be the big LB, I feel like UT needs in this class. The kind of LB that meets the RB in the hole and knocks the sh!t out of him and leaves a lasting impression on that RB for the rest of the game. Let u all know more after I check out his highlights, whether u all want to hear it or not

This guy looks considerably better than some of the LB's we have at the top of our board. He is very physical in the box and has very good instincts. Defintiely a true MLB type, which is a good thing, because if we are running 4-2-5's a lot in the future, we need LB's of his size.

Tennessee means SEC football. All of the tradition, Neyland Stadium, the rivalries… it’s all there. The Vols finished the 2016 season ranked #22 in the AP Poll after beating Nebraska in the Music City Bowl. You’re driving right past Virginia Tech on the way to Knoxville. Add three more hours to the drive to Blacksburg and you get to UT. Artis’ other SEC offer is Missouri and that’s even tougher to get to. SEC Football is still the gold standard for college football, so it should be no shock that Tennessee is in the mix. Tennessee Football is on an upswing under head coach Butch Jones, so they’re certainly attractive to recruits here.

After reviewing his highlights, Artis has moved into 2nd place in my most wanted LBs on UTs board, behind only McGrone. Strong, fast and seems to have great instincts. Already. 230 pounds, should be ready to contribute as a freshman if the need arises, hopefully it won't, because I think UT is starting to get their talent level high enough where they can redshirt most of the freshmen.

Jibunor is still my favorite 2018 LB recruit, but I have finally accepted that UT wants to move him to DE. I still disagree with that move, but I accept it, grudgingly
