"LOS ANGELES -- Candace Parker hit four 3-pointers and finished with 26 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists to help the Los Angeles Sparks beat the Washington Mystics 93-82 on Sunday night.

Nneka Ogwumike had 22 points and Jantel Lavender added 20 on 9-of-11 shooting for the Sparks (18-1). Los Angeles, ranked No. 1 in the AP WNBA power poll, has won seven straight and needs two wins to tie the 1998 Houston Comets for the best start in WNBA history."

Boxscore > Washington Mystics vs. Los Angeles Sparks - Box Score - July 10, 2016 - ESPN

The SPARKS are now 18-1 on their way to one of the best seasons EVER in the WNBA!

I Got A Good Feeling CP3 is going to play her way in getting A RING!

Hopefully CP's ankle injury isn't serious and doesn't keep her off the court when they play Chicago.

Sparks have been looking very, very good this year. In games like tonight where Jantel Lavender is hitting those 18 foot jump shoots one after another, they are unstoppable on offense.

Unfortunately injuries tend to always hamper LVs. College ranks or WNBA. I hope she's ok, too. The Sparks are definitely not the same team minus CP3.

But I give a YOU GO GIRL to Jantel Lavender! I'll tell you what she's The 6th Woman of the Year. There is no one else in the league putting up numbers and playing consistently like Jantel. She got the midrange shot down pat! I'll have to look at her stats because she's got to be close to 60% from the field. It seems like she never misses.

This Sparks team get the job done. They get be behind or in close games but at the end the will their way into wins. That's what is exciting about them. That and watching Candace play. From her layups to jump shots I love her game. She's beautiful to watch play!
