the three-star junior offensive lineman from pensacola (fla.) high school said tennessee now is in my top five following his visit with the vols on saturday, and hes already planning to visit them again, perhaps for one of their home games this season.
i like them. Theyre in my top five. Its just nice. he said he was impressed by everything tennessee has to offer, including its engineering program. everything they've got is nice. Plus, im doing chemical engineering, and theyve got my top program over there, said medley, who holds offers from more than 20 schools. everything surprised me the weight room, everything.
medley said saturdays visit allowed him to spend time with pruitt, new tennessee offensive line coach will friend and charles kelly, the vols safeties coach and special teams coordinator, one of the tennessee coaches who have been in contact with him over the past few months. The vols talked with medley, he said, about the offensive line and how they see me in there, practicing with them and everything.tackle or center well, mostly everything, medley said, referring to where the vols might play him.
Medley said hes high on tennessee because of the staff and the engineering part of it, adding that clemson which hosted him and his teammates on friday before they traveled to knoxville is the only other program he has visited to this point that has a comparable engineering program.
The vols coaches, he said, impressed him with their personalities and stuff when i get around them and everything. and he has high hopes for what tennessee might be able to accomplish under pruitt. i think everything theyre doing is great, medley said.
