Just a little off-the-wall note here. Every week at the Rivals Camps stops we ask prospects to predict where other top prospects are going. I've shared the links here in the past. Over the weekend one of the guys we featured was five-star Derek Stingley, who is from Baton Rouge. Almost every answer was LSU or Alabama. Except for one:

The pick: Tennessee

Why: “He’s a versatile player so I can see him there. They just feel like that’s his type of environment.” – 2019 wide receiver Tyler McNair

Normally this would just be a throw away pick but it's worth nothing that McNair is also from Baton Rouge. Also, when I went to look up pictures of Stingley from last year, there's one of him in a Tennessee hat from the Five-Star Challenge. Generally we allow players to pick hats to pose in for future commitment edits, etc. I still think the Vols are on the outside, behind LSU, Alabama and potentially Stanford, but I do find it interesting considering Pruitt was recruiting him while at Alabama. Just something to tuck away for the future.
