Devon Dillehay on Hudl

Rated a 3-star player by Rivals last year @ 5.5, dropped to 2-star status now (5.4) but this kid put up some incredible numbers over the past 2 seasons. In just 20 games @ Northeast, Dillehay racked up 239 tackles (164 solo), 73 TFL, and 19 sacks. Also averaged 9.4 yards per carry on offense and 40.5 yards per punt. Turned down offers from Navy, Air Force & Ball State among others to be a Vol.

Feb '18: Northeast High linebacker Devon Dillehay had a breakout year after making the transition from Class A football (at Clarksville Academy) to 3A football (at Northeast). The junior was named The Leaf-Chronicle All Area Football Defensive Player of the Year and now has picked up a three-star rating by Rivals.com. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound linebacker had 144 tackles, 96 solo with 44 of those for a loss. He also finished with eight sacks and two forced fumbles while helping Northeast return to the 5A playoffs.

When have we had walk on's start here?

I recall Nick Reviez at LB and the Sullins twins on the OL. Anyone else?

Those are respectable scholarship offers so I think it's a great PWO pickup. Wasn't Jumper a PWO? I mean the kid was a liability in the passing game but he was one of the more consistent defensive players we had during that rough period.
