Staff should be up all night scheming. Players should get their assignments early tomorrow. A big deal for the Vols' future. I know it's just a game, but it's a breakout for the Vols

1979 was good but I like Bullet with Butterfly Wings better.

If only we had Bruce and Lane back it would all be so much better. I mean, if you can’t beat Kentucky by double digits like always in our history, you must suck, right?

And….to clarify...I’m trying to preempt the panty-sniffing Bruce and Lane crowd.

That was the first TN basketball game I remember watching. Watched it at a childhood friend's house- they were all big Kentucky fans. I'm cheering for TN like crazy and they had to watch KY go down. I don't remember ever watching another TN-KY game with them again.

DeVoe’s 1st year. At that time I lived in Louisville Ky area and went to our opening game at Freedom Hall in Louisville, who was ranked #5 at the time and a very strong team. Vols lost by 21. Mid season team was only 11-11, but got hot at end winning 9 straight beating Ky for 3rd time in season and winning our 1st NCAA tournament game. It was sweet the way Vols dominated Ky winning 8 of 10 in one stretch while I was living there. They hate Tennessee with a passion. Loved it.
We need to cut down the nets in Tampa today.

If this team comes out with the intensity they had in that second UK game and maintain it, we'll grab the championship. The only thing that worries me is the fact that we have a lot of key players that are very young. How will they handle the big stage and bright lights?

That was just a few years before THE BIG MANG aka BIG SEXY Kevin Nash. I wonder why when it comes to Tennessee Basketball he is not talk about more he had a pretty decent career.
