Interesting facts (even before kickoff)

This is the first game that Bob Greise did with Keith Jackson.

(Mr. Jackson introduces him during pregame)

Iowa's QB McGwire is the little brother of Mark McGwire

Jackson and Greise just said "This is the little brother of the National Baseball League's Rookie of the Year, Mark McGwire, who set a rookie record for Home Runs at 40."

OK, now I'll watch the game.

I remember that I listened to that game on my dad's radio. I'm thinking it wasn't on tv for some reason, but I could be wrong. Great game saving stop by Mike Whitehead!
