Watching. I was surprised to hear our D was only ranked number 39 with those names I defense don't seem possible.

Was watching the 92 game of Bama v Fla before it and got pleasantly surprised to see this game.

After listening to our game after the Bama game it just reenforced my hate for Keith Jackson. He had a hard on for Bama all game and barely gives us credit for anything we do. F him.

Watching it as well with the family. I forget how messy some of the wins were, but we used to be a team that found a way regardless.

Watching that game makes me miss and not miss Fulmer.
When you look at Manning, Lewis, Little, Wilson and the many other NFL talents on that team, you can't figure out how they barely won, and then got clobbered the next game.

Really? Complaining about "barely winning" the SEC Championship Game?

Yeah, I can see how you got tired of going to 5 SECCGs in 11 years and 3 in the last 8 years. As all of the Basilio minions used to scream: Fire Fulmer, we could hire anyone to do better than that!!

I was at the Orange bowl, Nebraska was much more physical. Also you could tell the UT seniors were determined to avoid injury. They just did not seem to try that hard. Long trip for disappointing effort.

2001 Ga vs Vols on now...17-17 at half. Vols looking good, Walls kicking hooks, cost em 3.

This is my bowl game....I forgot who actually won this thing. Goooo Vols.

Opps...I was watching the famous Larry Munson quote game. Dang it, Vols lost in the last 10 sec....got hob nailed.

Well so much for a bowl game this year.

the 97 championship game was a statistical oddity....we had so many turnovers and mistakes. holy cow i cant believe its been 15 years. i was in college and was at that game. was a blast afterwards in buckhead, back when it was nice. never thought of the 90s as the time to remember but looking back now, wow the world was a fun and great place and the vols were consistently good

That was an unbelievable game. I was in awe because I was sure we were going to lose by 20 or 30. Then, we got up 21-7 and I was sure we were going to win. Nevertheless, Manning and the Vols came back and ended up winning the game by a point. Regardless of how mad I was, you guys deserved to win and were the better team the whole year. A silver lining was if we won the game, we likely wouldn't have been able to get rid of Terry Bowden the next year. Despite his success, I hated that egotistical jerk. He cared more about himself than Auburn, and I certainly rejoiced the day he left.

The 04 game was on recently. It ended much better. Especially when the UGa folks were saying it was the best UGA team since Herschel.

"Here's your hobnail boot back, except the Vols stuck it somewhere besides the Dogs nose!
