For those interested the 97 SECCG is going to be on SportSouth channel 649 (DIRECTV) on June 29th at 8:30 pm central time.

Finally!!!! I am absolutely tired of watching games in which we lose.

On Monday, I watched the 2004 S.E.C. Championship game against Auburn; in which Rick Clausen was our q.b.
Of course, as history has it, we lost...

Yeah, well, UF was the benchmark at that time. Thank goodness UGA & LSU beat them.

Glad to see Manning win the SEC but it was a bit bitter sweet.

I was in the dome and enjoyed it myself, but UT '98 was better because UT took care of business.

I agree that 98 was better but it was good to win the SEC in 97. If you win the SEC, then that is a huge win. That's why I always argued that Peyton could win big games because he won the game that won the best conference.

As I stated in another thread, back in '95-'97 it was UT/ UF and 10 other teams.

But, you're correct, however UT got there Manning tooks care of business.
