IMHO, we should be ranked #1 this week. Midway through the season, I can't find another undefeated team with a resume that beats ours. Can you?

So what does history show? Below is a link of the 1998 AP, Coaches, and BCS polls. It took UT getting to 8-0 in Week 10 for the AP and BCS to rank us #1. It wasn't until we hit 12-0 in Week 14 that the Coaches poll ranked us #1. I distinctly remember the same "I'll believe it when I see it" mentality from the voters in 1998 as we are hearing now.

If you took the names off the top 10 ranked teams and just showed resumes Tennessee is the number 1 team in the country no doubt. Think we wind up at 3 or 4 but we should be number 1.

I think we go #3. I willl say this, I am glad that Bryce Young played. I think we might have had an easier win without him playing, but that would have brought disrespect from media by playing a Bama team "not at full strength"

Agreed. I said before the game I hope he played so they had no excuses if we won. Got crap for it. Glad he played and played well. Makes it sweeter!
