Neither team really showed up today, at least not on the offensive side of the ball. Thank God for the fumble out of the end zone in the 4th, otherwise its another dark day in T-TOWN. Brodie made the play when he had too, a mark of a champion in my book. The VOLS will be back, but not this year. GO BAMA, ROLL TIDE!

Which brings me to next question. Why was Gaines one on one on that long pass? Why was Gaines even in there at that point?

Who gives a sh!t about Gaines in that position. Our offense just dropped to 112 in the league. That says it all. What's going to happen next year when we lose all of our defense? Haaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha

It was hard to believe that there was no safety help. Looking at the replay, he actually had good coverage and could have batted it down, but he lost the football completely.

Our D will be OK. Unless coaching changes are made it will still be the O that sucks. (Thankfully RC graduates).

The coverage was tight, I thought it was going to get picked. Then I realized that he had no clue where the ball was. He was just running with him.

What makes me sick is people talking about what a great throw Croyle made. Let's be honest, it was almost a hail mary.

Very true Lex. All I'm saying is that on 3rd and 10, I'd be really surprised if that was where he really wanted to go with the ball. Looked to me like he stood there and looked all over the field and finally just chucked it. To Bama's credit, it was one of the few times in the 2nd half when we didn't get oressure oin Croyle.

Your right. I think he was just happy to be standing upright at the time.

No...the O-line made a play when it had to.

I don't know all the players but when they said Gaines I had a WTF? moment.

He lost the ball but DJ helped him a bit with a well timed shove - it's only a foul if they call it.

I stand corrected. I just saw the highlight on ESPN. Croyle stared down that receiver the whole way. He was going deep from the second the ball was snapped. A heck of a throw in that situation.

Why did our best DB (Wade) not cover their best WR (Hall)?

IT was a blitz. As you remember Croyle has been missing the deep man all day over throwing. I think by pressuring him on 3rd and long will force an incompletion or a sack. Vols D had been doing that all day. The bama O-line stepped up when they needed to and Croyle hit the 1-1 perfectly. It was the first time it worked all day and it was at the most crucial point of the game.
