and I am mildly but pleasantly surprised by this team. We beat SC and come within inches of beating UGA. I honestly didn't expect a SEC win till November. All we need is two more wins and we get to go bowling.

We are damn lucky to have Butch and with the Class we got coming in I think its safe to say our worst days are behind us.

The future is Bright Orange Nation.

w/ what the VOLS have coming back next year, we are only 5-7 players (like Cam Sutton) away from being REALLY GOOD.........We need players who HATE to lose and are really MAD when they loose !! I don't see players on the sideline MAD when they make a bad play.........

I thought the Vols would be 3-5 at this point, so I'll gladly take 4-4. Vandy and UK are wins, and I think they have a decent shot beating Auburn.

We have not turned the corner just yet. Six of our defensive linemen will graduate in May and four or maybe five offensive linemen will be in the NFL in April.

So, our defensive line & Offensive line will be weaken by graduation.... I expect a 6 win season in 2014 also, but in 2015, we should be able to get revenge on Florida & Georgia...

I figured you were and thats fine with me! But generally speaking for many people who visit here, all the negative posts (not you in this instance) towards each other just gets old.

I am wondering how bad our 2nd string O-Line is compared to the Starters? I know that our starting offensive line are all good players and will most likely all be in the NFL next year but how much of a dropoff is there?

As far as the D-Line is concerned, Vereen and Carr are going to be animals by next year. A.J. Johnson will be gone from the LB corp but the young Reeves/Maybin will be a starter next year probably. Perhaps even Dillon Bates gets to start as a Freshman next year.

When I look at the future, I don't get as depressed as some people do. Yes we are losing good players, but the rest of the SEC will be too.

Georgia will lose Murray, SC loses Shaw and Clowney, Bama loses McCarron, LSU loses Mettenberger and Hill.

I feel ya. That's why I generally don't post immediately after games. I can't handle it after being beaten on the field as well lol
