2 Camps

So the part about one taking longer might be true. We are a bigger school with bigger camps. But the rest is Homerism BS. The rap music thing with the language etc--I mean maybe in the dorm or locker played by a camper but on the field is unlikely. The media was there until the last set of camps they would have said something.

Unless I missed some reports on this. Otherwise, I will log this as the writings of a Notre Dame fan.

It is amazing the difference in perspective of the kids going through the drills with the coaches....and the parents sitting on the sidelines....

That is a father's perspective and all about the logistics and registering and dorms.

I would like to hear what his son thought about the actual camp and compare that to ND.

I don't think Kiffin is looking for the tea sipping pinky raising type anyway. That little ninny probably wouldn't have fit in here very well.

This kid probably won't ever get the chance to play for UT anyways. Apparently he had slow 40 times and was also probably overshadowed by a lot of better players. Sounds like sour grapes to me.

It stinks to know that anyone has this kind of impression of a visit to UT, even a player who's fathers an alum. But it sounds like to me he wasn't very talented and thats why the coaches maybe didn't pay him as much attention.

Sounds to me like he just has sour grapes, too many good comments out there for this to carry too much weight. And on the music...does he think that no locker room will have that going on, get a life.

The thing I don't get is with all the negative parts of our camp the kids came out wanting to be good enough to play for UT not ND.

they did play rap music during the camp, and it was unedited, but if this dad is worried about rap music with curse words what kind of football team does his son play for, other kids and coaches would be cursing all the time?? this guy is a fool... and he said tplayers received no instruction? every interview i have heard they raved about how much the learned and that the camp was intense

Sounds like a disgruntle fan that wanted Brian Kelly to be UT's next head coach. I bet he Boo's our team at the football games.

I call BS. He claimed UT "always had good food services."

Sounds all very whiny and weak, to me.

It also sounded like a compilation of excerpts from KNS stories of things the coaching staff has been criticized for. I wonder if John Adams actually wrote this......

Sounds like he was gonna have a heartattack just because his son heard some cuss words

Could I get some more specific information on the "rap music" that was played during the camp (i.e. artist / song)....

I'm always looking for some good music to get me amped and ready for some football.

I, like millions and millions of others, don't believe that "rap music" is worth its salt if not heavily laden with expletives.

Any other information on what was played would be most appreciated. Any suggestions otherwise?

this dad's son is playing a sport with a large proportion of AA athletes. Good luck finding a hip hop free environment.
