Consider these two plays, among the many of tonights game. The corner end zone pass that wen through Croom's hands and was intercepted, and the end zone to end zone pick six. Should fate deem that those two plays go our way, that is a 21 point swing and we're in a 3 point game with one of the top teams in the nation. Not even mentioning the questionable fumble or several other key moments.
I bring this up in response to those who say we are a poor team who will struggle to win 5 games. We will be in it with most every team on our schedule (few of whom will be near the caliber of OU) and we should win a couple of them handily (VU, Chattanooga). If our o-line grows and gels even modestly we could be a very scary team for anyone to play. All is not lost. Now get some sleep.

Croom's play does not make a season...but it may make him a bench warmer if he plays poorly going forward. We get von back in a short while with ethan also.

don't want to make this about the refs....there is probably holding on every play nowadays.

What I didn't like were the head slaps to Worley and no calls when you can see a foot of jersey coming off a guy trying to make a play

There's hope for Croom. His frame alone gives him more chances. We hung with OU tonight

no... we... didn't!!!!!!!!!!!! oh my goodness people

MAYBE we almost hung with them. But no... just no. We lost by 24 and it was never even that close after the big12 replay officials bent us over and gave Oklahoma a TD.

what about when Fowler was laughing when that dude blasted worley with a forearm to the head. I know for a fact you cant do that in the NFL.. has it not trickled down to the college game yet??

That's ridiculous. We shut down their run and were a couple of bad bounces/bad calls from being right in the game until the pick-6.

I have nothing but hope for this team and the future.

Don't forget the bad call on the fumble before the half, that would have taken another 7 off the board for OK and givin us a scoring opportunity.

Agree with that, but you know NO close calls were going to go for us in Norman tonight... You have to play well enough to make the refs a non-factor... Again, we were overmatched, but not by much. Look out CFB, the Vols are coming back!

this one was close to being close. I am staying positive. I would have rather lost tonight than UGA or Florida. Maybe we get em both!

Our defense stood toe to toe... did you watch the game?

yes I watched the game thats why I'm not in a good mood right now. I watched us get beat 34-10

Our defense played better than in years passed but we still got gashed too often. They should have run the ball on us more honestly. Its hard to remember everything with all the emotions i go through during a game. I still love seeing our guys hit their guys hard behind the line of scrimmage but everytime herbstreit would talk about their freshman RB breaking tackles i thought i was going to be sick.

Not to mention just based on tonights game that striker kid would be the heisman trophy winner. It was rough. We really got dominated but made enough plays defensively to keep ourselves in the game. Not to mention Worley was great on a lot of 3rd and LONG situations.

Worley has been making great throws all season. Commentators are quick to call all the drops underthrown balls but those underthrown balls are usually to a receiver running out who has a defender deeper so worley puts it where our guys can come back to it... they just dont. Hopefully our WRs will learn how to make better plays on the ball. I really think Worley got screwed by the WRs tonight. Sometimes you gotta make those tough catches with guys all over you. Its one thing that separates us from them.... them being any contender.

I fall somewhere in the middle. Definitely don't think we were a few plays away from winning it, but did see improvement. It's pathetic that we are talking about how we're close to being in these games, instead of talking about actually winning them. So tired of losing, but still think CBJ has us on the right path.

I think we were overmatched by a lot more than our boys let us see. They played great they really did. But their Oline against our Dline.. they should have rushed for 10 yards a carry.

Croom needs to fight for that ball. He let a couple get away from him tonight

If we can get Croom and Malone to engage (engage Maverick!!!!) and get Von and Ethan back healthy, then we are gonna be bad arses no doubt!

Oh and fix the OLine/Return game.

Maybe overreliance on Jet Sweep too.

THIS! I lost count of how many holds i saw. in the first half. I also saw some illegal picks of OU Wrs blocking LBs before the ball was thrown…

My hat goes off to Worley, tough kid...

Yeah, he thought it was funny alright. How about also when Herby was trying to make a point about this team being on the rise and how they kept hanging in there Fowler would change the subject back to OU and how dominant their defense was playing. Arrrggghhh, You Suck Fowler!!!!

I noticed that too. He was laughing as he said the de just threw a forearm to Worley's facemask. I personally didn't think it was funny and it should've been a penalty.

It wasn't a bad call. It was close but they made the right call IMO... D played really well with a few lapses. My problem is you can't win against great teams without running the ball and we are incapable of doing that. Its a co bination of a bad/ inexperience online and scheme. Its the tonight of a bad scheme that bothers me. If we have a tebow/fraisure/Renard Robinson/mike Vick/etc maybe this offense rolls but when you have worley, I don't see how we can successfully run the ball I. This offense

are you serious??? you think the no fumble call was a good call......... you are out of your mind! NO ONE thinks that wasn't a fumble. Oklahoma fans will tell you that was a fumble.
