Every game I've ever watched of Oregon in the Chip Kelly era to the present they always go for 2 on the first touchdown. It is actually a very smart way to go about it because even if you miss it you just go for it again on the second score and if you get it your back at 14 like you normally would be. So it got me thinking that what if we were to do this, how effective would we be? Because if you do convert then you will put pressure on the opposition to match or require them to be down a point the entire game since nobody else does it. I for one am the type that hates kicking PAT's but am ok with field goals if that's the best opportunity so I would prefer to go for 2 every time and force the other team to try and keep up.
I'm not trying to act like I'm a coach or anything but I was just curious what all you guys think about this and wether we would benefit?
