IDK how anybody wins with an individual case like this. He was deported 3 times, so who is to say the removal of sanctuary laws would have prevented this? Also, the ICE agent says "Regrettably, politics continues to prevail over public safety" which is a completely ******** way to frame the matter. Both sides are playing politics. It's not politics vs. public safety, it's the cost of public safety vs. public safety, and that's what it always is, whether we're talking the war on drugs, immigration, the FDA, etc.
