Kind of surprised that there's no thread for it. Also surprised that Duke won as I left a bar with UVA up 6 with 5 to play. Anyway, this happened.

Moving on up...hopefully...

Doubt it, but they'll at least close the points/votes differential, in the polls.

...unless Duke was already so close to Gonzaga in the rankings that this jumps them over them.

Edit: Had slipped my mind that Notre Dame beat Duke earlier in the week. Forget that second part.

In a far better conference? Potentially.

I agree about the conference, but Gonzaga is really good this year. Only loss is by 3 to Arizona in overtime. Not even any other close games. Virginia may stay #2 but I don't think Duke jumps.

I'd personally keep Gonzaga ahead. Hard to ignore that blowout loss at home to a Miami team that's a 10 seed at best.

With 3 losses? I doubt it.

My bad, I was just looking at the differences in votes and points on each of last week's rankings. Forgot Duke lost earlier in the week to Notre Dame.

But I think there's still probably too much of a gap for Gonzaga to jump UVA after its first loss.

This week's rankings, however, will probably close the gap more however.
