Players sure have their share of blame in this one, but the coaches, IMO, are equally responsible for this blowout.

Talk about a vanilla game... not one wrinkle on either side of the ball that made it hard on the opposing coordinators.

The players got out played and the coaches got out coached. Coaches gotta do a better job of putting their players in a position to be successful. Tonight our coaches failed their players.

No way this team should have lost like this to Missouri, regardless of who was at QB.

Yeah love this thread. We don't have the players---"schemes" or "wrinkles" can only do so much when you aren't as talented. What's Butch going to prepare that's going to dazzle and amaze Alabama? Not **** when you don't have playmakers. Not surprised at all. Missouri was considered a gimme win by some dimbulbs on the board. Ya'll are funny...we're losing cuz of wrinkles. Hilarious.

ohh my god..stop defending the staff! You put in wrinkles to make up the Talent gap. And even Though Mizzu don't have More Talent it would have been Nice to have had some wrinkles in the Mix to show the players You came To win!

This. Get a clue OP.

Read the OP again amigo.

The OP isn't saying we should have lost, just that we shouldn't have lost like this, right off the bat saying the players shoulder some of the blame. The coaches certainly didn't do the players any favors with the scheme and preparation tonight. Not sure how that is so hard to see.

Perhaps reading comprehension should practiced before telling somebody to get a clue.

I understand I'm speaking with a dynamo conversationalist and debater so I'll just say this--you don't know what the **** you are taking about.

Omg..... We weren't prepared because we lost on the road to the #1 ranked team in the country, and a top 15 ranked team with a freshman starting his first game ever. You people amaze me. I told myself I wasn't coming on here tonight, and now see I should have. smdh

OP wanted wrinkles and creativity in the game plan with a true freshman playing QB on the road against the #9 team in the land. Yes, he needs a clue.....multiple clues in fact.

Dropped passes, false starts from the most senior player(s) on the team, Mizzou QB that run 15 yards at most in other games puts over 100 on our D. The dreaded read option were Neal runs right up the middle to our own guys hoping to fall forward a yard? I mean, something has to get going.. and soon.
