2 Weeks in a row, coaches fail to prepare the team

Are you SERIOUSLY going to alibi a 31-3 shellacking, a complete and utter humiliation and embarrassment?

Did I think we would win? NO

Did I think we would keep it within 4 touchdowns? Hell yes. And if you didn't, please turn in your fan card.

Sorry... misread his post. Thought the OP said there was "no way we should lose to a team like Mizzou".

I completely agree we should have competed better than we did. I didn't think we'd win either, but I never expected we'd get our butts handed to us like that.

Your absolutely right, my bad. I totally misread what you posted. Thought you said there was "no way we should lose to a team like Mizzou".

I'm usually pretty good at reading comprehension... :loco:

Don't sweat it.

We played Alabama last week. Being unprepared had nothing to do with it.

why is this so hard for people to understand? It would not have mattered how much we prepared for Alabama. Kind of hard to beat a team who has highly recruited 4 and 5* players on their bench. We just don't have the talent, but I guess thats too hard to grasp.

Players sure have their share of blame in this one, but the coaches, IMO, are equally responsible for this blowout.

Talk about a vanilla game... not one wrinkle on either side of the ball that made it hard on the opposing coordinators.

The players got out played and the coaches got out coached. Coaches gotta do a better job of putting their players in a position to be successful. Tonight our coaches failed their players.

No way this team should have lost like this to Missouri, regardless of who was at QB.

Smh

I am more concerned with the effort and intensity than with the game plan. we Had a true freshman QB starting his first game on the road so you expect to be vanilla but.

On offense they threw the ball 42 times, had some nice plays, 2 missed TD passes 1 dropped and the one with North don't know if he lost the ball or what. I know they didn't run a trick play, but if you recall the coaching staff has said if they cant get them right in practice they don't run them in the game.

I guess on defense its pick your poison, try to bring extra pressure and get beat over the middle as it happened 1 time, sit back play coverage on 3rd and long and QB runs for first down.

The receivers blowing by the secondary was the coaches fault? That seemed like lack of speed to me. That receiver standing in the end zone by himself seemed like the coaches fault too? Seemed like blown coverage to me. The slip screen where the guy ran right by the LB's?
