Hubbs was talking about him on the Sports Animal this afternoon. He is Brad Johnson's son. Brad apparently wanted to keep him a little under the radar, but he is already playing well enough to get attention. Hubbs also said that Brad Johnson is good friends with Heath Shuler and Max is the same age as Heath's kid. I don't think it hurts us to have a connection to the family with Heath.

I don't usually comment on the skill sets of High School recruits but I will have to say I really like this kids skills. I like that he is under center; keeps his eyes downfield; moves around only when he has to; great accuracy and length on his throws. I'm sure I missed a few attributes.
