Obviously just thinking out loud here but if Stoops drops another one to a coach that is likely to be fired at seasons end whats his hot seat like after Saturday?

OU has a tough schedule and they are a scrappy team. The only thing that might put him on the "hot seat" is if he lost more than 5. Even then I think it would be nothing more than media bullcrap, OU knows the importance of Stoops to their football program and they won't let him go. I think Miles being fired has got people on edge...Stoops is still one of the best defensive coaches in the game...Les Miles was not an offensive or defensive specialist - he was just an all around coach who relied on elite talent and his assistant coaches, much like Fulmer...

Texas has some pretty good young players on offense. If their defense was even average they'd win that conference

Same here, but I guess it's because Fox got the rights to B12 football. Though I would think this would be on regular Fox networks instead of FS1.

The OU fans can be as bad or worse than Tennessee fans when it comes to knee jerk reaction.They wont take losing to Strong two years in a row if it happens especially if he gets fired.
