I was wondering if this could go down as the most losses any UT class has experienced? also lets see how they panned out.
Demonte Bolden: 4*: descent DT starter, but nothing great
Josh Briscoe:3* best year was 07 season, but played like a 3* receiver IMO
Wes Brown: 4* recruited as a DT per rivals, moved to D end. Starts senior year, but no superstar
Lamarcus Coker: 4* I believe he would have been great if not for the grass. Now transferred and will never make it to his full potential
Jeff Cottam:4* Injured most of career, If we could throw the ball to the TE I think he could be a future pro.
Todd Cox: 4* Athlete, I have no idea what happened to this kid.
Jonathan Crompton:4* 2nd best pro style qb. Looked descent freshmen year vs LSU, but looks like he should b playing for a D-2 school instead of starting in the SEC
Montario Hardesty:4* Could be a game changer if he would stay healthy. Injuries have plagued him his entire career.
Raymond Henderson:4*DE Done something at a Rocky Top market and never played a down 4 UT, was kicked off the team
Marsalous Johnson:3* DB played well last year I thought, but I'm not sure if he could cover me this year.
Ricardo Kemp: 3* Athlete Made a huge INT vs Kentucky last year. I thought he was pretty good, but transferred before the start of this year.
Josh McNeil:4* #1 ranked center in the country. I was expecting big things, but he is part of the offensive line that couldnt block Northern Illinois this year. Probably our best O-Linemen though.
Demetrice Morley:5* came in 1st two years and played like a man. Big hitter, Pick 6 vs LSU in 06. 07 kicked off team goes to Pellissippi gets his grades up plays in 08, but has not done anything special. Been injured most of the year.
Darius Myers:3* OL never really seen the field that much
Adam Myers-White: 4* DB was moved to LB at UT. Played special teams and finally got some PT this year. Never really panned out into being a 4* player at all.
Malcom Rawls:4* OL transferred freshmen year to go back home to Memphis. Had a pretty good career their.
Vladimir Richard:3* DE I was hoping for big things out this guy, but moved to OL and has never really produced, but neither has the rest of the OL
Austin Rogers: 3* WR while Coach Cutt was here looked like a somewhat important part of the offense. Shows signs of being okay more often than not though, he is a question mark.
Chris Scott:4* OL Pretty much the same story about all of our OL. Never reached potential. Part of one of if not the worst OL unit in UT history.
Slick Shelly:4* WR Couldnt understand the Offense at UT. Transferred to Tulsa and has been having a great year in the Spread throw heavy offense of Tulsa.
Lucas Taylor:4* Ath Played WR and has made some big plays. Threw for 2TD in career on trick plays. 07 was best year on the hill when he emerged as Ainge's favorite target. Failed to do anything close to 07 yet, but probably because of QB play.
Antonio Wardlow:3* DB. Made the cover of sports illustrated after recovering a blocked punt for a TD against georgia in 06. Had a big int vs Wisconsin in Outback Bowl last year. Couldn't stay out of trouble and was kicked off the team in the off season.
Dan Williams: 3* DT Played up to his 3* billing plus some at UT. Before he was injured this year, Some had talked about him going pro. Very good SEC DT.
Gerald Williams:4* LB wanted to play for the Orange more than anybody I believe. Finally made it to K-Town this year and we moved him to DE. Has yet to be seen how good this kid could or will be.

Yes, this has to be the biggest bust class in the history of Tennessee football. Every single one of those guys has way underproduced with the exception of two or three.

yeah, that class could def. be the biggest bust in UT history.. but the guys that red shirted such as Dan, Wes Brown, And D-mo since he had a year off at least have one more year with us..
and gerald has a couple left too...

but its still aggravating to read that list and see how big of a bust it was

I can agree with almost all of that but I think you were nice to the recievers. I know that our QB play has been AWFUL, but all of the WRs have underproduced. They can't shake defenders, they run lazy routes, and they drop a whole lot of passes. I know that they may be suprised when the ball actually gets there, but your job is to catch the ball.

The fact that Lucas Taylor started more than 5 games is a success for him

Lucas is the only WR that wasn't a complete bust IMO

briscoe was suppsosed to be a big playmaker with his height, and speed, and supposedly great hands.. he hasn't done much at all.. and ROgers has underperformed from his soph. year..

just FYI, Todd Cox ended up at Memphis with Rawls. I know he sat out last year due to some NCAA rules. I'm not sure if he's on their team this season or not.

I think these guys would've probably been pretty good if they had been at other schools.

There's no way in a group of 20ish 4 Stars that not one of them would end up being a first or second round draft pick (and I can't really see any of them being so) at an SEC school unless there were coaching problems. I believe that Phil can recruit better than that.
