you know thinking back to last year for us, that stretch where we played back to back at LSU and at UF....it was tough....but i got to looking at the opponents schedules this year....some other good runs....

Florida:
9-16 @TN
9-23 UK
9-30 Bama
10-7 LSU
10-14 @ Auburn
10-21 Off
10-28 UGA.

Minus that UK game, that's an intimidating stretch if i ever saw one.

TN:
10-7 @UGA
10-14 off
10-21 Bama
10-28 @USC
11-4 LSU
11-11 @ ARK

Probably the most comparable stretch of any other SEC team to what UF has....

LSU closes the season with games @TN, Bama, Ole Miss, @Ark
AUB has a three game stretch in the middle @USC, ARK, UF
Bama closes with MSU, @LSU and Auburn
UGA is spread out pretty good...no reall tough back to back games all year, there's a week off between Auburn and Ga Tech.
USC closes it's schedule with TN, ARK, @UF, MTSU, @clemson

Toughest non conference game...hm.
Auburn plays Wsh St.
LSU plays AZ and Fresno St.
ARK plays USC, from the left coast
MSU plays WVU
UF plays FSU
UGA plays Ga Tech and Colorado
TN plays Cal
KY plays L'ville
Vandy plays @mich

and if your not listed here, then you play nobodies on your non conf. shedule...I'd say Ark and Vandy have the toughest non conf. opponents. Follwed by MSU, UF, UGA, TN, KY....

should be a fun year next year....

yeah, me too. unlike last year....but man, when i saw UF's schedule....that stretch from 9-16 thru 10-28....man. that's a football schedule...many props from me on that...they go undefeated there, well, then they deserver whatever they get....

I agree but I think we'll beat them LOL....course that's just because I think we should win every game we play lol.....I'd say our toughest game this year is going to be at UGA

really? not me. I think UF and LSU are teh only two teams on our schedule that are flat out better than us....UGA should be down this year...they lost a ton of folks....though they should have plenty to replace them with.....but still down, even just a bit...

Yeah over the years it seems like we cant beat UGA and half my family are Georgia fans & I would love nothing more to put a whoopin on them at their place

well then i'm guessing your fairly young...cause all you'd have to do is point back to the 1990's....where we beat them for 10 years straight....

we owned UGA....they knew it...we knew it....it was great. and as good as they have been we still beat them in 04, at their place...buck up buddy!!!

Another point to look at....

Auburn, Alabama and Vandy don't have an off week until week 13. they all play 12 games straight....hmm.

UGA plays 11 games straight, off week in Week 12 before the Ga Tech game....

Ole Miss and MSU play 10 games straight, off week in week 11

LSU plays 8 straight....before they get a break.

Florida and KY play 7 straight

TN and USC play 6 straight

Ark plays 4 straight...

I'd say we came out pretty good on that one.....

This may be the year that off-week before bammer does some good.

This is why I said I'd take a 9-3 record next yr...no way UF is #2 like I saw in one pre season poll..hopefully top 10 by yrs end..but brutal schedule!

yep...you guys will need that off week after that stretch...definitely the toughest one stretch of games in the SEC next season....

Good luck with that....hopefully it will start off with a loss!!!!

yep....it's almost unfair to make those teams play 12 straight....that's not an off week....that's the end of the freakin' season. they'll fix that next year i bet....i know if i were a fan of Bama or Auburn, i'd be raisin' cane.

yeah, can't feel too sorry for them the front part of thier schedule is powder puff easy...HI, Vandy, ULM, ARK is how they open....should be 4-0 easily to start off...then @ UF, Duke, OleMiss, @TN....6-2...FL Int...7-2....MSU, @LSU, AUB....8-4, 9-3 at best.

Let's see, easiest schedule, imo, has got to be...well, i'll give everyone some conf. credit...but UGA and Bama look to have the easiest schedules imo.

UGA toughest games: TN, UF, AUb, USC...No Bama, No LSU, and Non conf. is WKU, UAB, COL, and Ga Tech....
Bama toughest games: UF, TN, LSU, AUB...no UGA, and non conf. is a joke...HI, ULM, Duke, Fl Intntl

I think FL, LSU, TN, AUB have the toughest schedules....in that order.

oops...forgot USC...theirs is the Easiest by far....

oh, it's way too early to start that discussion....we should at least wait until spring ball starts so we have something to go on and compare too......

Auburn last to commit to a schedule.
Wash St
@Miss St
LSU
Buffalo
@SC
Arkansas
Floriduh
Tulane
@Ole Miss
Arkansas St
Ga
@Bama

This is junk! :bad:

that Buffalo game does take it down a notch...but they do have a tough conf. schedule and they do play Wsh St., who's not great by any stretch, but it's better than playing ULM.

And, they play UF, GA and SC from the East....

And they play 12 straight games....

At least they didn't schedule a D-IAA team... Hey Tuberville, now you can go for another national title! Maybe you won't get snubbed this time :D

they may actually have a shot at it this year...i doubt they'll start off as far back in the rankings as they did two years ago....plus i don't think anyone will go undefeated this coming season....it'll depend on when you lose......

The interesting thing about that Florida schedule is they play the big three from the west which doesnt seem to occur very often, thats rough.

I'm just glad most of our tough games are at home this year

I don't know...the last handful of years we have been better on the road than at home. Hopefully we finish the 2006 season with the same winning percentage at home as on the road...if ya know what I mean, and I think ya do.
