Bruce Pearl better be praying every night before he goes to bed that Wayne Chism & Tyler Smith come back for their Senior years if we want to make any noise next year. I still dont think we have our PG problems straightened out, i dont think Maze is the "Solution" to that problem & we will have growing pains with Daniel West for most of the year. We still have to find a consistent shooter from behind the arc & will someone on the coaching staff please get this team to practice FT's every single day!!

I believe that Wayne and T Smith will both be back. Neither will get drafted very high, both played to inconsistent this year

I agree....I think Chism comes back, Tyler gone. Keep in mind though everyone will be back and hopefully more mature. I think your right about the PG position, we need help bad. I hope they work more on FT's than rap videos this off season. GO VOLS

I think the draft will be down in talent this year. You dont have all those freshman that are ready for the NBA as you did last year. IMO i dont think Tyler or Wayne are ready for the NBA, but something is telling me they both will leave. I really hope that is not the case.

It will be a bad decision if they do. Both of them are still getting beat by players in college. In the pros they only get much bigger and better.

I agree totally, but if you compare Tylers numbers from last years to this years they almost look identical & he was projected a late 1st early 2nd round draft choice last year & that was with all of those freshman ahead of him. Like i previously said their arent that many great freshman who are ready for the NBA this year so Tyler might be projected as a mid 1st or late 1st.

There is no way that this team doesn't get better. They will fix Hopson's rainmaker. Woolridge will probably transfer if he doesn't get better (just a guess, he's not going to play). Tatum will mature if he can the injuries to a minimum. Maze will get better with competition from West. Tyler will stay. Chism will stay. Williams will be the odd man out as Negedu / Juric are better than he is. Kenny Hall may press for playing time as well.

These are my feelings.

No shot Jurick plays ahead of Williams. Did you see Jurick in the pre-season? He looks like a stroke victim lumbering up and down the court. Negedu comparison is apples and oranges. Seriously though, Jurick has no shot of playing in UT's system. I'd liken him to Boof Bonser or whatever that guy's name that came here and went to Belmont. What was his name again? Somebody help me out.

Oh, and lest we forget, Woolridge started the season as a starter. He'll be much much better next year. After all, he's Chism's height with wing ability. Those aren't easy to find.

T Smith is gone. He has a child to support. Wayne will be back.
I think your starting line-up will be
PG - Tabb/Maze
SG - Maze/Tatum
SF - Hopson/Prince
PF - Chism
C - Williams/Negedu

I really think they will still play 3 guards and 2 forwards for most of the game. I think West will steal some minutes and Woolridge will play 15 minutes as well. Not sure Jurick will be ready at the beginning of the year still.

Things'll be better next year. They haven't been necesssarily bad this year. I'm still hoping that a couple of upsets are in store for this year's tourney.

Without Tyler I see us going something like

Maze/West/Tabb
Hopson/Tatum/Tabb
Prince/Woolridge
Chism/Negedu/Hall
Williams/Jurick

With Tyler maybe
Maze/West/Tabb
Hopson/Tatum/Tabb
Prince/Woolridge
Smith/Negedu/Hall
Chism/Williams/Jurick

at this point woolridge couldn't play 15 min @ any school

Tyler will be back for the simple fact that he is very involved in his son's life. Going pro would mean going to Europe, thus putting him out of his child's life.

Plus, hate to even mention it, but surely Tyler got something after the passing of his father that will help take care of his son.

Really? A black guy from Pulaski Tennessee and you think there was some inheritence or life insurance? He was relatively young, and probably could not of got life insurance once he was diagnosed with cancer, but maybe.

Why did you feel the need to point out that he was African American? What does that have to do with anything?

The only thing I can draw from it is a black man being from a place where the KKK originated.

Bad point, but that's the only relevance to using "black" while pointing out being from Pulaski that I can see.
