Sweet. It will be interesting to see who the Braves get. I'm hoping for Matzek or Wheeler, or Donavan Tate, which would be a risk since he could opt to play football for UNC. Who do you think 'Nati winds up with?

Even though they're in our division, i hope the Nats can get a deal done.

Keith Law has said that Matzek and Wheeler will both be gone before the Braves pick and they really like White. I hope Crow falls to Cinci and it looks like there is a decent chance it could happen.

Wow, so someone shows this? I've just been getting the results from SI the day after the draft the last few years...

How many rounds are in the MLB draft btw?

Nats - Strasburg
Mariners - Ackley
Padres - Tate/Minor
Pirates - Sanchez
Orioles - Wheeler
Giants - Matzek
Braves - White
Reds- Crow

San Francisco's really stockpiling some good, young arms and some good position prospects are coming up (Villalona, Posey)

I highly doubt Crow is falling that far. Many mock drafts have him at 3.

I'll be upset if the Braves take White. I got this feeling that we would be getting damaged goods. I would take Shelby Miller over him.

Budget pick. The theory is that the Pirates are putting a lot of money into a Latin prospect this year and are saving money in the draft by taking someone who will take slot money. The Latin prospect's name is Miguel Sano or something like that.

The first eight picks are looking to be Strasburg, Ackley, Tate, Sanchez, Hobgood, Wheeler, Minor, and Alex White to the Reds

That is second hand info and is not word for word.

I would be happy with White. Much happier than I would be with Minor. Would rather have Crow or Matzek though.
