WHOA that was stunning. And it came along right when I'm starting to pay attention to and get excited about our recruiting....dangit! Good info there and definitely a wake-up call.

I think Sab should write Scroggins a letter.

Man, that was a QB class to remember. We were going nuts around here that year.

Scroggins was a 10,000+ thread on here. Andrew Hendrix was a big target for us. Heaps was almost a Vol, so we thought. Brunetti was the in-state kid that got away. Teddy Bridgewater was high on us for a while. Everett Golson was a early target. People drooled over Brett Nottingham's numbers. Philip Sims was coveted on here too. Oh and we can't forget Blake Bell.

This needs to be a glaring example that sometimes, things aren't always as they appear to be when it comes to rankings.

That was the most talked about QB class in a LONG time, and we at the time would have wanted to have any of those QB's. And it turns out we got one of the few that was actually fairly successful.

Just gotta trust CBJ and staff to evaluate. Rankings and ratings mean nothing. Guys have gotta come in and play. Which is why I like that they bring in smart guys with athletic ability, and guys who are not used to losing. Our QB battle is about to get crazy once Dobbs, Ferguson, and yes, even High get here.
