If you look at this years class I think we did better off then what it may appear. I will start with the lowest rated in the class.

2* LB Crump has a video on youtube sorry I don't have a link. If you watch it he really moves well and has a nose for the football. His video is very impressive, I understand it's a highlight video. The exact same thing can be said about

3* LB Propst he looks to be a very smart player who tackles well even though he is a bit slower than you would like.

4* WR Meline is very fast and can player either side of the football don't be suprised if he ends up as a DB and returning kicks

3* ATH Dixon is very fast and see's the field well if you watch him most of his highlights are as a punt returner witch is badly needed by the Vols. He see's the hole and attacks.

3* K Palardy has a very strong leg and will probably compete right away at both K and P

4* QB Bray this kid was rated 4th buy rivals in the most accurate passer list his arm strength is deceiving if he puts on the weight he should be ready at the start of the season.

The rest of the recruits are just as intriguing as these I just wanted to talk about a few. I think this class will keep us on track to get back to where Tennessee wants to be. If you look at WR we did very well all of them have great size I Milton will end up as the best of the bunch. If you look at the DL players some could be moved to LB so Ithink we did good there. If you look at the OL players we added 4 good players who should add depth. I know we missed on some DT's, but Istill feel we did very well. All of the ratings are per rivals.

i'm excited about Propst. If he's half as good as Ryan Karl, we're in good shape.

Ryan Karl is the epitome of Tennessee football. Underrated 2* kid coming out of BGA in Franklin. He didn't have blazing speed, jaw dropping stats, or D1 size coming out of high school, but the kid grew up loving The Orange. This was translated to his play, even when he was a freshman on special teams he was always around the the ball attacking. He was our Charlie Hustle, and he gave his all for Tennessee. It's rare to have players like this anymore (N. Reveiz), kids who care more about the program than they do about their draft stock or highlight reel. GBO

I'm not saying that Karl was anywhere near the skill level of Big Al Wilson, he just had a motor that never stopped running and he played above and beyond the level most expected he was capable of.

Al Wilson is the epitome of UT football. Ryan Karl is only the epitome of the last few years of UT football.

Al Wilson is the exception not the rule Ryan Karl is the rule most of the time. I think Propst will be better than Karl.

:good!:

Yeah. It's not his fault Chavis had him line up in man coverage on Percy Harvin.
