Don't you have to win more than 7 games to be a Heisman contender? Good luck with that Denard Robinson prediction...

Btw, won't his rushing stats decrease with Hoke as HC? I'm guessing that will make his passing game worse on top of less rushing stats.

I agree with you except I think Richardson wins the Heisman.

It's not out of the question Landry Jones throws for 5,000 yards. If he does that and go undefeated, he's a shoo in for the Heisman.

so Tennessee wins the SEC but LSU wins the NC? wouldn't this mean we would more than likely have to beat them in the regular season and the SECCG??

If that happens then he deserves to win it. But I would almost bet anything he's not throwing for that many yards.

I think they'd beat us in the regular season, we pay them back in the SECCG giving them only one loss, where as we'd have 3 or so.

Or maybe we only have 2 SEC losses at the most. LSU and Bama. Win the East by sweeping the division and the others having more than 1 SEC loss. LSU wins out in the season. We upset them in the SECCG.

If LSU were to lose the SECCG, there would have to be a miraculous string of other major championship game losses by highly-ranked teams for LSU to squeak into the BCS title game.

He threw for 4,700 yards and ONLY had a 65% completion. If he moves that up to 68-70%, he can throw for 5,000.

Plus they lost their top RB, so you might see them throw more.

Broyles and Kenny Stills will wreak utter havoc.

He will have to play 14 games to get it but the Heisman will be decided before all 14 games. He wont have it by the Heisman presentation.

Likely? No. Still has a decent chance though.

Heisman:

1. LaMichael James (if for no other reason than the media will be nutting over Oregon's jerseys all season)
2. Trent Richardson
3. Denard Robinson

Yeah. A 1 loss LSU team could make the NC game, but not if that 1 loss is the SEC championship.
