2011 GA PG Shannon Scott

A 6'2" point guard from Alpharetta, GA has verbally committed to Ohio St. Scott is rated the #12 prospect in America and is a 5 star on Rivals... Scout rates him #33 in the nation. He chose the Buckeyes over Georgia, GA Tech, and Clemson. His father, Charlie Scott, was the first black scholarship athlete at North Carolina and played in the NBA.

Does anyone know if we were even after this guy?

I'm aware of Ware, but was more interested in whether or not we even went after Scott or was there never an interest from either party? He committed to Ohio St even though they show to still be in the running for Teague and Randle.

For some reason Ohio State recruits well and they will still pull Teague more than likely, we will have a great 2011 class though.
