I started this thread last year, and it did really well. If you find any stats or insights on any of Tennessee's current commits or targets, please post them here.

Let's keep up with our future Vols, and possible future Vols!

(Perhaps this should be moved to Recruiting. My bad, thought I was there.)

Don't know if Tennessee is targeting this kid or not but they should be.
I'tavius Mathers from Murfreesboro Blackman high school rushed for 279 yards on 14 carries and also had a 90 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. He also had another 51 yard kickoff return. He had 410 All purpose yards and 4 touchdowns. He is only a junior. Somebody start a thread on this kid.

I was at the blackman vs tullahoma game last night! mathers kid was ridiculously good! everytime he touched the ball it was a good chance he was taking it to the house. UT really does need to get an eye on this guy. Lineman from Tullahoma was played really well too! Joe Dauscha i think his name was... really good pass blocking along with multiple pancakes... could be a sleeper!

No. They have a couple of kids that have been over hyped by some.

Long is a UGA commit, but you will notice than no other big programs will offer. Kid is a courtesy take for them because his older brother is there.

Martin jumped on the USM offer because its the best he will get. Kid did well at some combines, but his stock plummets against good teams.

Johnson (QB) - gets looks because of his size (think Bray). So far, the kid has put up big numbers against inferior teams and has been garbage against good competition.

Go to the games when they watch MUS and CBHS. It will be obvious who belongs and who does not.

Anybody hearing anything about Christian Harris? Would like to know how our first commit of the season fares this year.

Rivals used to have weekly updates on all our committed kids. I don't know if they still do or not.

jmoore,

is that a typo; or did Brian Randolph really have 17 tackles?

Also, anyone got a video on Allen Carson? for last week's game. Saw his highlight reel, and was impressed, so, I would like to see something recent....

Lastly, why did Tom Smith have "limited action"? is it because he's playing safety?

That's what LV reported in the Randolph thread. LV said that scout had reported he had 17 tackles.

Minor Ath Chris Jones 302 total yards and 4 TDS. Had 2 TDs receiving, 1 rushing, and 1 on a KR. Also had 2 punts for 75 yards. Will probably end up as the best skill player in the state this year.

3 TD's, and NOT 100% sounds pretty good... I noticed in that video that they spread the ball around pretty good, and rightfully so as they have a handful of playmakers.

Also, that's great news about Brian! hoping he stays healthy with all these tackles he's getting, Not to mention the plays at RB...

Also,

How can I start a post? I haven't created one yet, and can't figure out how.

I'd like to see a thread on Cartersville Senior J.D. Jones. He has an offer from UT. I went to watch the game, and wanted to write some stuff about him, as I workout with one of his HS teachers.
