Figured this would be fun to throw in a few predictions for the upcoming season...

Matt Ryan will throw 30 TDs

CJ2K will finish with 1,100 yds after a slow start/holdout

Titans will finish 6-10

Cowboys will NOT make the playoffs...again

Raiders will win the AFC West

Superbowl= Patriots= 33 Falcons=20

NFC Championship Game= Falcons Defeat Packers
AFC Championship Game= Patriots Defeat Steelers

NFL MVP= Aaron Rodgers

I can see most of those coming true, but I would put the Packers in the Super Bowl. That team is going to be loaded and if everyone stays healthy, they should be very hard to beat. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Jets finally win the AFC and make it to the big game, but Green Bay repeats. Atlanta should be very strong again, but they will have to compete with New Orleans and an up and coming Tampa Bay. The NFC South could be very fun to watch this year.

I'll go out on a limb for some:

1) The Lions make the playoffs.

2) The Texans make the playoffs.

3) Cam Newton will make Jamarcus Russell's rookie quarterback season look like a success.

4) The Eagles and Chargers have decent seasons, but don't meet expectations. Andy Reid and Norv Turner are both dumped.

5) Jason Garrett leads the Cowboys to the playoffs.

6) Chris Johnson doesn't play 16 games as a Titan.

7) Julio Jones wins Rookie of the Year.

8) The Packers start out the season slow and barely make the playoffs.

9) "Sexy Rexy" won't get it done against New England in the playoffs.

10) Matt Ryan leads Atlanta to the Super Bowl, but he can't quite get over the hump and they lose to the Patriots.

Can't sleep & I don't have to work so what the hell

First game of the season Saints vs Packers...These two will play again in the NFC divisional round, I don't know where though.

AFC West: it's the return of the San Diego Chargers. No slow start for the Bolts this year

The Titans will not win more than 5 games, Texans win the division

AFC East: Pats dominate, Jets will batte the Colts for the final wildcard berth

NFC West: Rams win the division easy

AFC North will see Baltimore win the division, Steelers get a wildcard

NFC East will see The New York Football Giants as division winners, Dallas & Philly could both easily win it too

NFC North will be the most competitive division this season. The Lions will finish second.

Super Bowl will be NY Giants vs Indy. Get your popcorn ready

He started four games and completed 55% of his passes during his rookie year. He also had twice as many INTs as he did TDs. Which stat do you want to go off of? I might be willing to make a little wager with you on that one. I think Cam will have a decent season. It won't be like Big Ben's rookie year, but it won't be like Jimmy Clausen's, either.

As for the Falcons love in this thread, I will be almost anything that you are all wrong. Matt Ryan is a choke-artist, and the Falcons are the most overrated team in the National Football League. I hate them with the passion of a thousand STDs!

I don't even have to tell you guys, not a bold pick or anything, but Titans win the Super Bowl and the Pro Bowl.

If the Titans have both Kenny Britt and Chris Johnson for 16 games, they finish above .500. I know most people that don't follow the team don't know much about the Titans, but with steady QB play, a stout OL, and the weapons on O (including Jared Cook), this could be the most potent offense the Titans have had since the McNair days. Gotta have steady QB play, though.

FYI, I took my crazy homer pills this morning... :)

Lions are looking very good...it is preseason though...they may just go 10-6 and miss the playoffs ala TB last year. Will be fun to watch them play it out though

By week 5 the 72 Dolphins are popping champagne.
Eagles are plagued with injuries and finish below .500. Cowboys win the NFC East
Packers easily win their division, but the Lions make wildcard along with Giants.
Saints dominate theirs.
Cards win the west because somebody has to.

Saints choke away playoff game to Cowboys sending them to the NFC championship against Packers where Cowboys miss a late FG to lose by 1.

Jets defense injures Brady Oct 9 and he's out for the season. Pats win only 7 games. Jets win East.
Ravens clinch the North on Christmas Eve by destroying the Browns who were right with them at the time.
Indy wins the south. Manning's starting streak is snapped.
Chargers easily win the West and have the best record in the AFC, but lose to the Ravens in a blowout. Norv is canned.
Texans and Browns are wildcards.
Ravens beat Jets for AFC title. Rex gets ejected early in 3rd quarter for tirade with officials.

Packers beat Ravens in a fantastic game. Rodgers is game and NFL MVP.

Yes, that was painful to type.

I agree with most with the following exceptions:

No SB for the Steelers. Just because I'm a hater, though I think that defense is starting to get old.
Chargers take back the AFC West.
Saints take back the NFC South, with the Falcons taking the Wild Card.
Flip a coin between the Cowboys and Eagles for the NFC East, runner up takes the last wild card.

NFC Champs: Saints

SB Champs: Saints

AFC North: Steelers/Ravens tie, Pittsburgh wins on tiebreakers
AFC South: Colts
AFC West: Chiefs
AFC East: Patriots

Wild Cards: Jets, Ravens

NFC East: Eagles
NFC North: Packers
NFC South: Falcons
NFC West: Rams

NFC Wild Cards: Saints, Giants

AFC Champs: Colts
NFC Champs: Packers

SB Champs: Packers

Some notes:

-As a Lions fan, I feel like they're one year away from contending for the North title, or at least a playoff spot. I'm expecting 8-8 this year and I'd be fine with it.
-The Cowboys will finish .500, expectations won't be met yet again, Jerry Jones will be sad, and "America's Team" will suck again.
-Falcons seem like a solid sleeper pick.
-I feel like this might be San Diego's year to sneak up on everyone, but I think that every year because they've always got the talent to do it yet never do.

So you're not only predicting the Colts to be the first team to make a Super Bowl where they have home field advantage, but you're predicting them to lose it (with such) as well?

Back to the Pro Bowl? And instant HoF for CJ? Not to mention a Super Bowl for the Titans. Unless 370 of those TDs are against one team, thats a definite Super Bowl.

And that one's the only prediction he gave that has even a reasonable chance of actually happening
