2011 Spring Training Trip to AZ

I was in baseball heaven for 6 days. I highly recommend it to anyone that has the time and money. Pops and I watched 8 games in 6 days, mostly the Reds obviously. It was fantastic. Here are some pictures.

when did the Reds move out there?

Last year was their first year.

It's beautiful out there. About 75 everyday with ZERO humidity.

oh yeah this is the best time of year. The Angels were really close to where I lived (plus the boss was a huge fan) and of course the Cubs always had a big following

Got lucky with Lincecum throwing against the Reds at the Giants park in Scottsdale. Great pics of him and one of Posey before the game.

We stayed at the Marriott Buttes Resort. Had to have been close to your old stomping grounds.

Went to see Arizona State vs. Arizona Saturday night. The place was sold out and rockin. It was great.

yep just a couple miles away. I wasn't really a baseball fan but always enjoyed spring training
