After much deliberation and with a large degree of sadness, I have decided to no longer conduct the contest. I have become quite busy with singing with three groups, and in particular Hundred Acres has grown in demand with shows booked every week, more than one a week sometimes. My role with them has expanded to taking over a large part of the marketing/merchandising side. (Have you got your CD and T-shirt yet?). RB good luck on the venture, you did a great job on here.

Anyone stepping up to run the show?

I can help when needed, especially between the months of April through September. However, I'm not sure how helpful I'll be during the other months because of school.

I know it will take lots of time but really appreciate you guys stepping up...500 is in 9 days

I can help ocassionally. Just need advance notice if anyone will not pick up the next race by no later than Tuesday of the race. Posts need to be up no later than Wednesday of the race week.

Although my schedule is also pretty packed with two jobs and going to school at nights, I would be willing to run it or help run it as well. If no one is able to do it every week, maybe we can split it up between several people and pick who does it in which weeks before the season starts. Just a thought.

Seriously. Something needs to happen. This was one of the funnest things to do. I would change the rules though where you could pick up too lap 10, seems I always forgot until the green flag dropped.
