First off, I don't mean to step on any toes or stick my nose where it doesn't belong, but since rbroyles has decided to step down as the conductor of the NASCAR Pick'Em contest, I feel that as the defending winner of the contest I am partially responsible for keeping it going. Therefore, I am volunteering to take over the responsibilities, at least on a temporarily basis to begin with. I thought that I would run the Pick'Em for the first five races of the season, and then maybe we take a vote on whether contestants want me to continue to run it or if they want someone else to do so. Like I said, I certainly don't mean to get in the way of anyone that has a desire to do it, I just fear that it might not get going if we wait to long. If anyone objects to this, please say so.
TennFan, I see that you have already gotten the ball rolling and posted a Daytona Pole Pick'Em thread, so I won't step on your toes if you want to run the contest. If you (or anyone else) wants to take the responsibilites in running it, please say so and I will step aside.
