SEC Football 2012: How a 14-Team Schedule Will Look | Bleacher Report

Hey guys I have seen a couple of threads on here about our schedule, but I have not seen anything regaurding the SEC as a whole.

This info is a little old but still gives us a very good outlook on what the future SEC holds.

This is UT full schedule, just as a reminder.
NC State (ATL)
Ga State
Florida
Akron
@UGA
Bye
@Miss State
Alabama
@USCe
Troy
Mizzou
@Vandy
UK

I doubt they'd open up another series with us and LSU again. The rotating games that just finished up the back end of home-and-homes (UT-LSU, Bama-Florida, Auburn-Carolina, etc.) are probably done for a while.

Surely we'll move on to our scheduled Mississippi State home-and-home next year.

Things must have changed because there is a conflict I just noticed. LSU is not on the schedule in my post but it is in the article. We must have dropped LSU for Miss. State like Big Slick said.

Hey 8-4 guys, I thought next year was the one we would have the talent to challenge for the SEC again.

If everyone stays healthy and a Rb emerges we could beat GA, USCe, Florida, and Miss St.

Thats 2 HUGE ifs.

We already played them 2 years in a row. That's all we have ever played them before they rotated off. Thank God.

9-3. 10-2 if we pull one off at SC which is possible if Jeffery declares.

I'm thinking this is how the SEC looks next year:

East:

Georgia
Winner of Tennessee/SC
Loser of Tennessee/SC
Florida
Missouri
Vanderbilt
Kentucky

West:

Winner of LSU/Alabama
Loser of LSU/Alabama
Arkansas
Auburn
Texas A&M
Winner of Mississippi State/Ole Miss
Loser of Mississippi State/Ole Miss

Possibly 5 losses - Florida, Georgia, Miss State, SC & Bama

I think Miss St is losing quite a few starting seniors and possibly their head coach. Could be a down year for them next year. I would be very disappointed with a loss down there next year.

9-3?....10-2?...Hilarious...You DO realize this is the same team that just lost to Kentucky right?....If this team wins 7 games next year it will be a miracle...Call me a negavol all you want but I just do not see it with this team and coaching staff.
