We will know tonight who the final 12 are, so we need a thread where folks can make their BOLD predictions for the chase.

Tell me either now or after tonight's race, WHO YA GOT for the overall winner, runner up, and last place?!

For me I don't want to say who will win it all without seeing tonight's race, but Joe Gibbs has a hot stable of drivers. 9 wins split between two drivers! They will be tough to beat.

I don't put much stock in the MWR guys. Two wins this year. One at a road course and the other with Vickers. As Carl Edwards can attest to, you need wins to take the Winston Cup.

Here is the 12 Chase drivers, or whatever. I don't care:

01. Kenseth 2015
02. Johnson 2012
03. Kyle Busch 2012
04. Harvick 2006
05. Edwards 2006
06. Biffle 2003
07. Logano 2003
08. Bowyer 2000
09. Earnhardt Jr. 2000
10. Kurt Busch 2000
11. Kahne 2000
12. Newman 2000

My picks:

Jimmie wins. That team is too good to have this much bad luck.

Kyle Busch drives well but struggles in the last 4 races and his inability to keep a cool head when things are working against him will be his demise.

Dale Jr., finishes last. He tries to switch it up from 'Cruise and Collect' and ends up in the barriers 3 times.

VN Picks:

Yankee: Kyle Busch
MBRO: Not BOLD enough to pick one driver
Syxx: Kenseth
Always Ready: Joey Log
Burhead: Kenseth
Gordon: Jimmie Johnson
OrangeFreak: JuneBug

JL: Kyle Busch
Nerd: Jimmie Johnson
95: Kenseth
Crew: Edwards
Bubba: Harvick
TennFan: Jimmie Johnson
MSUDuo: Junebug
Jhen713: Kahne
FullButch: JuneBug

If Toyota has finally gotten there reliability issues behind them one of the JGR guys will win it, my guess Kenseth.

Jimmie Johnson. Rooting for Harvick

I do not trust Toyota's engines. Of the Toyota driver, I'd want to see Bowyer win.

Based on past performance (for what ever that means-the last races) on the Chase tracks I give the edge to Jimmie and it could be close among two other drivers. Don't count out Bowyer. Matt is probably the odds on favorite with Jimmie and Kyle having a shot. I'm picking Greg Biffle for last. Dark horse is Kevin! He's a charger if he's in the top 10 with a dozen laps left.

It's possible that a driver who has the most top 5's and only wins 1 race or none could win the Sprint Cup Championship. However, I think that who ever wins it, will win at least 3 of the final 10 races. Jimmie won 5 of the Chase races one year.

Just read that NASCAR penalized MWR racing 50 points against the #56 team putting them in 17th place and now the #39 team Ryan Newman is now in the Chase as the 2nd wild card!
