Whoa whoa whoa. You're not by Lakesite this year?

Where you going to be, and how long will your display be up? We're not headed down to Soddy this year until closer to New Years.

This year it's over by Soddy Lake, near the ball fields. My buddy bought a new house, so the venue changed.

Also, are those RGB pixels, and if so, where did you buy from, and are those easily programmable?

We found a guy in the US that bought the lights from china. We had to piece everything together but it's a hell of a lot cheaper than going to Home Depot.

Good deal man. Post your new location at some point, we'll be down in Soddy around the 27th of December.

I'm on my 3rd year of static displays while I've been building up my light inventory. I'm going to jump on LOR's spring sale this year and buy at least 1 16-channel (maybe 2), and I just took down a willow tree in my front yard where my megapole will be installed for next year.

I think instead of buying more lights at this point moving forward, I'm going to invest in a bunch of RGB LED pixels like you've got here. Seems to provide more flexibility for design and color choices, plus they're brighter and more efficient than incandescents.

I would get away from the incans as much as quick as possible.

The RGB is awesome and there's so much you can do. Check out meteor tubes. Those are pretty awesome as well. A very nice added effect.
