Strengths:
Austin has a very good handle with a killer cross over. He is a very good slasher and penetrator. He is an able passer and can be very effective as a "point forward" with the offense running through him.

Weaknesses:
Austin is a streaky shooter with range on his shot to 20 feet. Brandon is extremely thin and long but has some toughness. He will need to improve his body over time but his skill level is what catches your attention. Defensively he needs a lot of improvement but he has length and athletic ability so he only needs to improve his effort in order to be a solid defender.

Bottom Line:
Brandon is an ultra skilled combo wing who can conceivably play all 3 perimeter positions.

We have offered and are a school he is considering. However, his favorites are Syracuse and Villanova, and it seems he prefers a Big East school.

I think most recruits would pick Syracuse over Rutgers/Miami/Tennessee. So it would be a good guess.

There's not a lot of info about this kid. I guess the verbal to PSU and then having a good summer is part of the reason. He does seem like the classic type of recruit that CCM likes with his versatility but we are in on a lot of quality guys. Will be interesting to see if we recruit this kid hard.

Doubt we push hard for him, I'd think he's atleast 5th or 6th on our priory list of wings. Behind Crawford, hubbs, king, jw3, johnson and maybe even Stephens.
