So with the commitment of Poole to g tech, and news of Thornwell, I though it'd be a good time to really look at who were in pretty good shape with...

PG: Travon Landry(comitted), Josh Newkirk
SG/SF: Markel Crawford, Sindarius Thornwell, Robert Hubbs, Xavier Rathan-Mayes, Deshawn Munson, Harold Givens, Aj Davis, Quinton Stephens
PF/C: Austin Nichols, Alex Foster, Akoy Agau, Schuyler Rimmer, Jack Whitman, Jarquez Smith, Sam Edwards, Moses Kingsley, JW3

So we clearly are in position with alot of very good talent, if we can land any 3 of these guys, or 4 with a transfer or Landry leaving, it can be a very good class.

Maybe Quinton Stephens in the wing list and Moses Kingsley or Sam Edwards with the posts. I'm skeptical about Edwards, but Rob Lewis thinks TN wants him.

There seems to be little on Edwards it's odd. I'm curious to see how his senior year goes and how he progresses, if at all.

Thanks for the update. Is there any way you could do a similar update on a weekly basis? The basketball forum is tough to sift through to figure out what's going on with basketball recruiting.

Ill try to give updates in this forum each week, or as new news comes in.

TOS was saying that Tennesse is more involved with John Williams III than people realized, and that they could be more than just a semi-contender.

As of June 18 Kingsley has listed his favorites as Louisville, Fla and Arky in that order.
He is however planning visits to other schools.
Also is transferring to Huntington Prep in WVa to finish his HS career.
That would make visits by our staff a lot closer.
Like to see us get him but his offers are piling up.

I will be able to check him out then hopefully. Huntington Prep is gonna be LOADED.

I've said for awhile Louisville was the team to beat, it's gonna be a hard go for us, lucky we're in in other bigs. He really likes the way Dieng has progressed and sees himself taking a similar route, and having success.

That list of guys were in good shape with is really looking very talented right now.

I really just hope we don't end up with a lot of the close but not quite and finish 2nd result with alot of these guys.
