Clowney should be thripled teamed if not doubled teamed this year. SEC schools should be ready for this dude & keep him away from the QB......at least I hope we have defensive coaches that have "figured something out" by the time we play USCe.

And what's wrong with that idea? We could at least double team the guy so he want have a game winning sack on our QB. You know that's what happened last year for USCe to win the game at the last hooray.....right? Sometimes in the NFL they double team players. I don't understand why that wouldn't work for us to use on Clowney this year? Can someone on here explain why that's such a bad idea to implement??

It's a bad idea because if you thriple team Clowney, that leaves 2 offensive linemen to block 3 defensive linemen. God forbid they blitz

I say let tiny eat!!!! He was brilliant last year vs the clown. Out of how many snaps the clown won the battle once. I'd say 1 outta 20 or so is getting owned.

Ok....maybe NOT triple team because that was a joke. I'm very aware that leaves others to blitz but doesn't a running back & a full back block those others that do come through? There are certain ways to come up w/a scheme to "double team" a monster coming to kill our QB.

Absolutely. Every few plays put a back on his side and chip him as they head out for a pass. That will help slow him down a little.
