If Bray, Hunter, and Patterson all turn pro, then there will be some major question marks on offense.

At QB you have what Im assuming will be a competition between Worley and Peterman.

Our number 1 WR right now would be .... Vincent Dallas? We have talent no doubt at WR but no experience. Bowles didnt play this year and Pig, imo, was a major disappointment. But that could just be that he wasnt used correctly.

At TE you have .... Downs?

Our OLine will be okay. I think Dallas can be replaced. The way James was talking after the game, it sounded like this was his last year.

Just concerned we could have another down year no matter the coach.

Of course, this is extremely early and recruiting can make a big difference. I mean look what Patterson did this year even though not every day you see a player like him.

and before anyone says it, I am not a negavol. Just want to discuss our future problems. There is no doubt we have talent.

Defensive help. Bad!

EDIT: Just noticed that you were specifically talking about offense but we do need help defensively. Bad.

Players are there they just need some good coaching!

Funny how Harry Heinstand was not good enough for UT but he is headed the National title game with Notre Dame!

2013 will be another horrible horrible season with even less depth and no real talent coming in. :( we will be lucky to get 5 or 6 wins again and 7 wins would be a miracle.

How was Pig Howard a major disappointment, whenever the only plays the coaches ran for him were running plays out of the wildcat? I mean give me a break, they barely played him at the slot WR where he should be.

This program desperately needs Bray, Hunter, and Patterson to stay......or at least two of the three....

Am I the only one kinda depressed about 2013? I feel like Dooley is still here somehow or may be rehired...

I'm there with you. Most likely will be 2014 before we will be much better. Next year will be rough regardless of who the coach is.

You people are high. EVERYONE in college football has losses at key positions. It's part of the game. Remember when we lost a guy names Peyton manning. Granted we had a great D but our defense will be a year older and our offense has had enough recruits to fill positions. This year I totally blame Dooley. We were in a lot of games and should have won more. We'll be fine.

Worley will begin the season as the q.b. but Peterman will win the job by the seasons end......

Run the ball early next season and bring the receivers along, as the season progresses. Wished Arnett had stayed....

Downs & Meredith & Croom will be the tight ends. Wished Clear's mother had bought him his own computer and he didn't have to leave.

Who takes Lather's place? Harris???

He got a T.D. against Missouri, as I recall...

If Croom lives up to his billing I think that could be huge with him at TE, kind of gives you that Hernandez or Graham type of TE end, long athletic and can burn the linebackers/safeties. If we can just land a TB the offense could be much more explosive with that type of TE.

Why are starting the gloom and doom for next year already ? With Chaney as our new HC, our offense will be better than this year.

Thank God the 2012 Football Season is now behind us. We now have to just relax and wait until the New HC is announced and begin the slow process of rebuilding. When you are down as far as the Vols have fallen the only positive is that we can only go up from here. The SEC is now so extremely competitive, we will need a great deal of patience and fortitude to endure the slow and painful process back to relevence. I have come to the conclusion that I will have to exude much less emotion and anxiety regarding my beloved Vols. I guess in the grand scheme of life, I have to remember that it is after all... just Kids playing a game.
Go Vols

Pig took his licks this year. Bray hung him out a few times. Give him some time. Next year I see Peterman and Worley shared QB duties unfortunately. Next year will definitely be a rebuilding year so to speak. Alot of key roles will have to be filled. I may be the only one to say this but I hope Bray is gone. He just seems to be a poison.
