Just a quick note to remind you guys that you can witness the 2014 debut of three 2015 commitments Sunday morning on ESPN2 (11 AM CDT). Dual-threat quarterback Jauan Jennings, offensive lineman Jack Jones, and tight end Kyle Oliver will take the field in the game between Murfreesboro Oakland and Murfreesboro Blackman.

I watched last years game between Beech(Hurd) and Station Camp (Malone). It was quite the game. Hurd took the opening play from scrimmage about 70 yards to the house and Malone I believe had at least one receiving td and a punt return for another. Only bad aspect is that Hurd hurt the shoulder and missed the rest of the year. Maybe a good thing for us though, that he didn't take the pounding of another year of football.

I've always maintained the injury could be a Blessing in disguise. Just so long as the injury isn't to a knee (which is wasn't), no only allows him to save all the other hits but also focus solely on his college career. It also probably dropped him in the rankings some which is always good in terms of motivation. The beast should be ready to be unleashed!

What's the deal with Blackman using the same fight song as Auburn? If Jennings is a VFL he'll get that changed immediately!

On ESPN2

Jones and Jennings playing in the game

Jones has opened up some good holes for the Oakland ground attack

Jennings has a rushing and passing TD

Just for those interested

High schools use whatever they use...my high school used Clemson's fight song and it was 85% bammer

I havent seen the game yet i have it DVRed, but my dad told me that Jack Jones left the game with a knee injury, and another player was taken off on a stretcher. Jennings had a great game.
