Tennessee is recruiting him hard. Could not find a Tennessee offer as of now. Has offers from Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi State. Will be one of the more sought out bigs in the South.
Strengths:
This strong, tough, physical and athletic post is a beast. Turman is a great area rebounder especially on the offensive end of the floor where he consistently gets his share off put backs. Turman does a great job of using his explosiveness to rebound with two hands in a crowd. Turman is a good straight line driver from the low wing and along the baseline. He also sweeps across the lane and shoots a running hook with touch and body control along with scoring on power drop steps and shots over his left shoulder through contact. Turman can also hit the open 15 foot jumper with time and space as well. Turman at times simply elevates over his defenders. Defensively Turman does a great job of holding his ground or position in the low post and making the defense shoot over his outstretched hands.

Turman is strong but to continue to be productive in the post he must continue to add strength. He runs the floor well but must run every time. He will also need to continue to build his perimeter skills and hone his low post moves. Turman will need to play as much as possible in order to continue to gain valuable experience.
Bottom Line:
Turman is a very athletic and explosive post that is a terrific rebounder on both ends and scores in the lane out to 15 feet in a variety of ways. He is tough, competitive and has tremendous upside.
