6'5/190
Augusta, GA
Aquinas High School
UT recruiting him "aggressively" according to volquest.com. Offers from Alabama, Clemson, UConn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Kansas, and Marquette, among others. Has a UT offer.
ESPN scouting report:
Strengths:
With his game there isn't one particular item that jumps off the page. Rather, it's a culmination of a number of factors. Let's start with his basketball IQ. Hill has innate feel and sees the floor well. It comes as no surprise that he's an accomplished passer and will be a multiposition guy who plays well with other guys and doesn't have to dominate the ball. Like his quickness, finishing ability in transition and overall approach to the game. Doesn't have to score to make his presence felt.
Weaknesses:
Would like to see him improve as a ball handler and gain confidence in that area. His range is good but he's not elite with his catch and shoot and we haven't seen enough to gauge reliability or the presence of anything mid-range or off the bounce.
Bottom Line:
This is a major talent. Georgia kicks out Top Five caliber talent as a state nationally and Hill, though he's gaining in national stature is somewhat of an under the radar prospect after two years of high school. Expect his advances to come quickly and that he distinguish himself as a high-major, first tier player.
